2023年1月31日，美國EPA發(fā)布了計算機服務器能源之星4.0版本的最終草稿版，并公布此版本將于2024年1月12日正式生效，
4.0版最終草稿相比3.0版更新如下：
更新一：
在產(chǎn)品類型中增加了Storage Heavy Server (SHS)和Hyperconverged Server這兩個新的類別的定義(備注：SHS定義中的存儲設(shè)備必須是內(nèi)部存儲設(shè)備。)，但是目前暫未將Hyperconverged Server列入需要能源之星認證的名單。
Storage Heavy Server (SHS): A computer server with greater storage capacity than a standard computer server. As shipped, these computer servers support 30 or more storage devices. These servers differ from Storage Products in that they run computer server operating systems and software stacks.
Hyperconverged Server: A highly integrated server which contains the additional features of large network equipment and storage products
更新二：
更新了電源模塊的能效要求。
原3.0版本要求，所有輸出功率采用相同的能效要求：
